Golden milk

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and while stirring simmer for about 10 minutes.
Make a nightly ritual of Golden Milk Tea by swapping out the turmeric for 1 teaspoon of Lavender flowers, but strain flowers from tea after simmering.
Ingredients
Almond, Coconut, Oat or Whole Milk—2 1/2 cups
Fresh turmeric or ground turmeric—1 1/2 teaspoon
Stick of Cinnamon or ground cinnamon—1/2 teaspoon
Fresh ginger or ground ginger—1/2 teaspoon
Coconut oil or ghee—1/2 teaspoon
Pinch of black pepper
Optional: Honey, Maple syrup, Stevia or other sweetener
